Among other tasks, the collections analyst (collector) will be responsible for the following basic activities:
Manage and collect on an accounts receivable portfolio; properly deliver on the established metrics and KPI´s
Ensure timely payment of the HP receivables
Resolve customers' issues preventing payment
Builds strong customer relationships to ensure world class customer experience
Conduct win-win negotiations with key internal and external partners
Leads and participates in local projects that enhance operational efficiencies within Collections organization.
Leads or participates in cross-functional teaming to improve customer payment cycle, facilitate solutions for customer receivable issues, and improve organizational processes.
Recognizes trends for nonpayment and resolves issues by engaging internal partners.
Initiates the dispute resolution process with internal HP partners and follows issue and ensures resolution for HP and customer.
Impacts low value portfolio of customers.
Ability to influence moderate value of collections.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in collection.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Intermediate written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Intermediate accounting knowledge.
Intermediate problem solving skills.
Basic computer skills and Excel knowledge.
Intermediate prioritization skills.
Basic understanding of risk mitigation tools.
Intermediate understanding of HP's order management process.
Intermediate understanding of HP's dispute management process.
Intermediate understanding of collection processes and financial concepts.
Fluent written and spoken English
Portuguese, written and spoken
