Position Purpose & Summary
This newly created position will oversee the Asset Protection and Insider Threat program at Cargill in close collaboration with our Forensics Investigations, Security Operations and the Security Analytics teams across the globe and as part of Cargill Command Center.
This position will establish a cohesive program from the ground up, pulling together many of the existing capabilities Cargill has in this space and driving the development of new ones. The scope of this program is large and complex: it entails protecting the assets, integrity and reputation of Cargill and our clients from malicious o6r unintentional damage carried out by ‘insiders’ (employees, former employees or trusted business partner). We accomplish this by leveraging a variety of preventive and detective techniques.
This will position will manage the strategy, policy and processes for the program, and coordinate across a number of stakeholders to accomplish the program mission (e.g. HR, Legal, Global Security, Law enforcement, Privacy, etc.). Focus areas include data / IP loss prevention, fraud, and sabotage.

Participates in selection of direct reports and plans for future workforce needs

Constructs compelling development plans and executes them
Develop the Asset Protection and Insider Threat program, charter, roadmap, resourcing, author procedures, and develop a governance process
Define the strategy and methodology to develop and refer cases, manage incidents and risk, and integrate lessons learned into the program
Establish information sharing processes between the various security and investigative functions
Identify and incorporate technologies able to facilitate incident management
Liaison with a broad global network of partners among peers and law enforcement to develop best practices
Leverage findings from Insider Threat cases to improve behavioral baselines, update network analysis, and improve indicators to identify future threats
Manage overall key stakeholder relationships to ensure the program has necessary data, leadership support to operate holistically
Work in conjunction with our Forensics investigation team on key cases
Develop training and awareness programs
Develop written and oral briefings for senior managers including the Cargill Command Center leader, CISO, and other senior leaders.

Bachelor’s degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
7 years experience including Counterintelligence,Insider Threat experience, Forensics, or Data Loss Prevention
Previous leadership (including managerial experience) in Forensics or insider threat manager roles
Proven track record of managing an insider threat program
Broad knowledge of business processes including business operations, security, fraud investigations, and intelligence production
Strong project management skills. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and supervise the execution of daily duties
Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
Experience in policy development, implementation, and training
Experience in Counterintelligence, Information Assurance, Insider Threat, Personnel Security, and/or Law Enforcement
Experience in working with Insider Threat regulations and information security reports.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization.
Effectively manage overall client relationships
Process oriented and able to develop and describe process to a broad audience of varied backgrounds.
Ability to accomplish results through others (lower level managers, professional employees, managed service employees).
Experience in managing third party vendors in a global, managed services environment
Exceptional teaming skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, and understanding and appreciating differences
Business fluency in English
Ability to travel globally up to 20%
Broad professional experience, including prior international work experience/travel or experience working as part of a globally dispersed team
Degrees in data analysis, security studies, intelligence studies, criminal justice, psychology, or other behavioral sciences
Experience with host or network based insider threat detection tools and advanced analytic methodologies
15 years of experience overall
