Description -

  • The Technical Benefits Analyst will serve as the primary system, data, and reporting contact for US Health & Welfare Benefits. Responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day trouble-shooting and resolution for reported employee benefit issues related to data, eligibility, timing, and system issues.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to eligibility, administration, policy changes, reporting, and process flows.

  • Respond to requests for documentation in support of required legal and compliance filings and audits.

  • Assist with data requests for employees joining or leaving HP due to acquisitions, divestitures, and outsourcing contracts.

  • Maintain reporting and reference tools used for regularly scheduled and ad-hoc needs. Position requires ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees, retirees, and internal and external partners.

Education and Experience Required:

· First-level university degree or equivalent experience.

· Typically 2-4 years related experience in data analysis, reporting, compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources (HR).

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools including Visio, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Intermediate knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits.

  • Basic financial and business acumen.

  • Basic project management skills.

  • Payroll and Workday experience preferred.
