Description:

The Commercial Lease Administrator II is responsible for reconciling and paying a segment of the store/warehouse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyzes and interprets Lease Agreements and their ancillary documents to ensure proper application/compliance regarding billings and payments and disputes expenses when necessary
• Analyzes landlord’s account ledgers in comparison with tenant’s (MFRM) payment history to reconcile outstanding balances • Analyze landlord’s yearend billings in comparison with the lease and tenant’s (MFRM) payment history to reconcile
• Documents receipt and completion of account variances
• Documents receipt and completion of yearend reconciliations • Documents payment avoidance/savings when appropriate
• Partners with Accounting and processes manual payments of charges or credit adjustments based on account reconciliations for designated markets • Facilitates defaults for designated segment of store/warehouse portfolio • Review and audit operating expense billing both estimated prepayments and reconciliation to ensure accuracy. • Complete other projects and special assignments as requested by Senior Management

Knowledge Requirements: • Microsoft Office
• Basic GL Understanding • Familiar with account reconciliations • Familiar with a General Ledger • Familiar with commercial Real Estate leases • Familiar with yearend expense reconciliations

Professional Experience • 3+ year of accounting or property administration • Background in auditing or related real estate experience a plus

Education/Training • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Ability to read, interpret and apply lease language • Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
