Robert Half Finance & Accounting Property Accountant in Houston, Texas
Our client, a rapidly growing commercial real estate organization, seeks a Property Accountant. This position is primarily responsible for the lease accounting, general ledger maintenance, and budgets on a portfolio that includes three commercial properties. This position will report to the Controller, who is a licensed CPA. Property Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Perform GL analysis and reviews, including, but not limited to monthly journal entries and accruals, intercompany transactions, analytical review, and GAAP analysis
Assist in preparation of annual budgets
Review bank reconciliations
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with management reporting and financial statement preparation
Provide support for semi-annual audits and tax fillings preparation
Perform additional duties, as directed by the Controller
