Duke Realty Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Duke Realty, one of the largest commercial real estate companies in the United States with industrial and medical office properties in 20 major U.S. cities, has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Payable Specialist (Operations Processor) to join our Accounting team in our headquarter office located in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Customer Service – develop and maintain relationships with our external and internal customers, ensure requests are completed timely and accurately.
Responsible for all imports, research, coding, cash transfers, data entry and validation relating to vendor invoices and payments received from tenants and customers as applicable.
Responsible for the review and data entry relating to the transactions needed to adjust the ledger payable/receivable balances as applicable.
Responsible for the review, setup, maintenance, and reporting for the contractual vendors in the Contract Compliance system.
Miscellaneous administrative duties related to the ledger balances. Sorting, scanning and distributing all incoming mail and facsimile communications. Review and maintain application systems with relevant account and record information while maintaining the integrity of the physical and electronic files.
May perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
A minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience in accounting/customer service required.
Possess strong initiative and effective organizational skills.
Ability to establish and maintain rapport with various levels of professionals.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Excel.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
