TheContinuous Delivery Services team delivers continuous integration and orchestration solutions to the Application Development community. In doing so, it seeks to increase the efficiency and overall quality of the teams and products. The program will also provide visibility into the software delivery lifecycle to all levels of the firm as well as enable accelerated delivery of business functionality to reduce overall delivery time of the firm’s software development and delivery.
As aJava Infrastructure Developer , your primary role will be to help implement the build and orchestration service of the Continuous Delivery strategy working alongside our partners in the Firm wide CDO (Chief Development Office).This position requires an individual with excellent skills integrating large and complex systems. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of cloud technologies and SDLC automation frameworks.
Responsibilities will include:
Design, code and test new features of the Build Service.
Perform new release deployments.
Assisting in testing and code bug code fixes.
L2/L3 type support Application Release and operational support.
Assisting users with on-boarding and training.
Working within a Scrum Agile Methodology framework.
Infrastructure troubleshooting and support.
5 years experience working as an Application Developer.
3 years of Java implementation skills with Java and J2EE.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery Tools (Jenkins preferable).
Knowledge of DVCS (Distributed Versions Control Systems) preferably Git/BitBucket.
Strong experience working with Maven as a build tool including a firm understanding of Maven standards and common practices.
Strong implementation skills with the Core Spring Framework including experience with Spring MVC .
TDD - Must have practical experience with unit testing with preference given to those with an understanding of Mock Testing Frameworks like EasyMock or Mockito .
Familiarity with HTML/Java Script/CSS .
Experience in using Eclipse or other Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) .
Experience in building war/ear files and deploying in server .
Experience in Linux, UNIX and/or AIX operating environments .
Team player with excellent technical, communication and problem solving skills.
Must have proven track record in implementing mid to large scale Java applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
