WestCare Child Behavioral Therapist in Key West, Florida
Duties: Provides a full range of assessment, consultation and psychotherapeutic services for Mental Health, Substance Abuse and/or Co-Occurring Disorders, for identified clients. Services are provided in-home and on-site in the community to include the family home, foster care, school, shelter or other community agencies. Essential Job Functions:
Carries caseload of approximately 20
Appropriately diagnoses clients and updates as necessary in conjunction with Program QIP
Works with client to develop and implement treatment plans
Engages in direct staff hours of service for assigned clients at the rate of 115 hours per month.
Conducts intake assessments/biopsychosocial evaluations for new and existing clients.
Conducts individual and family counseling activities as required.
Prepares written documentation for each service conducted.
Conducts all activities in such a way as to safeguard the confidential status of client information.
Participates in required staff development / training activities.
Proficient with computer programs: MS Office
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, possess effective interpersonal skills
Must be able to pass criminal background clearance and drug screening
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Minimum Standards: Education: Master’s Degree in psychology, social work or related clinical field. Mental Health License, Board Certification or license eligible within one year of employment.
Preferably two years of clinical experience

Frequent writing and use of key board
Occasional lifting of 20-25 pounds
