Lockheed Martin Administrative Assistant in Kings Bay, Georgia

This position performs a variety of administrative activities in support of Quality Assurance (QA) and/or other functional and program areas (E-TFIRR Program), as assigned. Typical duties or assignments may include, but are not limited to:

  • Using computers, desk-top software, and web-based applications to perform data entry, compose correspondence and reports, create spreadsheets and presentation charts, and status and report on progress.

  • Proofreads draft and finished documents for appropriate format, accuracy, and grammatical usage.

  • Gathers, collects, scans, copies, records, tracks and verifies data, information and presentation material from multiple sources.

  • Analyzes data and identifies and resolves administrative, documentation, computer application, and procedural problems.

  • Uploads and transmits data and reports on the status of tasks to ensure progress to deadlines, while assuring administrative detail on all assignments.

  • Promptly responds to inquiries and provides data, information, and customer service support to others within and external to the organization regarding office operations, assignments, processes, and procedures.

  • Performs SharePoint Calendar management, sets up and maintains files, makes travel arrangements, coordinates visit requests, manages and orders office supplies, updates training records and monitors training, and arranges meetings and events, including rooms, refreshments, announcements, audio/video, and other equipment, and service arrangements, as needed.

  • This position interfaces with Program employees and customers.

Basic Qualifications - Strong computer and typing skills. Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work in an ordnance environment.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance; interim secret required at start.
