Lockheed Martin's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program in Kings Bay, GA has an excellent entry level opportunity for a Planner/Scheduler. The person selected for this position will train in the duties and responsibilities of a planner and scheduler in the Maintenance Operations Group. Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Monitor the status of equipment and close service forms upon completion using Item Maintenance Assistance Program (IMAP). • Coordinate, monitor and track Industrial Support Requirements Plan (ISRP)tasked items to ensure timely completion. • Process request forms for parts, consumable and hazardous material ordering. • Utilizing the Automated Move Ordering System (AMOS) record support equipment that is moved back and forth to production buildings • With instruction, learn to develop production plans and schedules.
Responsibilities could also include:
• Collection and analysis of data • Creation and manipulation of spreadsheets • Evaluation and implementation of high-level requirements
Data sets include production, maintenance, and storage records for support equipment, material handling equipment, and facility transporters. The candidate will learn to perform production span analysis, refine workload indicators, participate in "what-if" studies, and support contract proposal efforts. To accomplish these tasks, the candidate will use IMAP system, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 2010.
The candidate must possess a strong aptitude for and demonstrated skill in planning, scheduling, or project management; must have good verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, the ability to work in a team environment; and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office product experience, and Project; be well organized, detail oriented; and possess strong analytical skills.
The position is located at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) in Kings Bay, GA.
Basic Qualifications In lieu of a Bachelors degree, equivalent overall work experience in a maintenance or operations type environment - Strong aptitude for and demonstrated skill in planning, scheduling, or project management - Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project - Ability to work in a team environment - Good verbal and written communication skills - Must be a United States citizen - Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired skills 2 years of planning or scheduling experience - Experience with Item Maintenance Assistance Program (IMAP) - Well organized and detail oriented - Possess strong analytical skills
