Job Description -- Office 365 Product Manager
Brunswick is currently seeking to enhance its collaboration services program to provide integrated workforce communication products including email, instant messaging, file sync, audio and video conferencing, and to introduce tools for collaboration to the organization. As the Office 365 Product Manager, you will be accountable for the implementation, support, and effective use of the entire Office 365 suite of tools throughout Brunswick as well as additional collaboration tools and services.
Responsible for all planning, budgeting, priorities and timelines, and governance for Office 365 activities.
Work with other functional groups within Brunswick IT to develop the strategies and guidelines for Office 365 feature implementation to meet the current and future needs of the business.
Be the main technology and business enablement advocate to advise and direct the best practice methods in how to utilize Office 365 throughout Brunswick.
Be the lead advocate for the entire suite of Office 365, and promote its capabilities to provide business solutions throughout Brunswick.
Provide regular communications company-wide on upcoming Office 365 features, products, changes and usage tips.
Provide expert guidance to management, ensuring the Office 365 solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy.
Coordinate staffing of projects and ongoing support with a combination of direct reports, matrixed reports, consultants, and contractors.
Oversee Office 365 projects managed by others and potentially manage projects directly.
Perform at both a strategic and tactical/hands-on level, providing communications and guidance to senior executives and sponsors regarding their role in ensuring the success of all assigned projects.
Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, team members, strategic partners and vendors.
Ensure overall Office 365 program effectiveness objectives are being meet, and proactively look for opportunities to adjust program practices to ensure program assets (people, tools, etc.) are optimized.
Minimum seven to ten (7-10) years of related IT experience including IT Project Management, budget/financial management, and staffing
Minimum two (2) years of experience managing Office 365 products
Possesses an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in delivering IT projects
Experience with Office 365 implementations
Manufacturing industry knowledge a plus
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Must have a positive attitude, and the ability to work and communicate with all levels of management, internal and external vendors/partners, system integrators, etc.
Experience in directing and influencing direct and matrixed project teams consisting of Project managers, Solutions Consultants, Program Analysts/Developers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Infrastructure Engineers/Consultants, Vendors, etc.
Experience with managing budgets and metrics associated with large projects
Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope and establish objectives for assigned projects
Demonstrate strong leadership strengths - ability to influence others; team oriented; service oriented; demonstrate strategic thinking; ability to resolve conflict.
