This position will be responsible for administering system updates, oversee the simulation environment, and support continuous improvement goals. The role has ownership of some of the 6 specific activities to ensure the successful system execution of corporate policies and business procedures.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
The Inventory Systems Planning Analyst will be accountable for the daily execution of specific business policies and procedures, as assigned, with the following areas:
+ Demand Capture
+ Demand Management
+ EOQ / Safety Stock
+ DPR / Deployment
+ Fixed Requirements
Based on assigned process ownership, the analyst will:
+ Ensure lost demand is correctly accounted for in the demand history
+ Maintain item level data and categorization of items as eligible for stocking/non-stocking
+ Execute the process to transition items between stock and non-stock inventory positions
+ Ensure discretionary investments are properly recorded and managed
+ Perform system maintenance and maintain master data within planning areas and processes.
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Mgmt, Business or related field
+ 2-4 years experience in supply chain or logistics
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Strong analytic fundamentals, familiar with large data sets
+ Working knowledge of SAP
Project management, continuous improvement, and experience working cross functionally
