***Required Education and Experience
High school degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in the mortgage industry or real estate preferred.

***Language Skills
Ability to speak, read and write in the English language
Articulate speaker with good interpersonal skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Ability to send short correspondence and memos

***Summary
The Trailing Docs Clerk is responsible for curing all investor and custodian exceptions related to the recorded mortgage and final title insurance policy
In additional to the above, the Trailing Docs Clerk is responsible for receiving recorded mortgages and title insurance policies, performing a series of tasks related to these documents.

Receiving final documents
Performing quality control checks
Processing mortgage and title policy corrections
Data entry
Record keeping
Communicating with title companies, investors and custodians
Uploading and shipping documents
Other duties as assigned
