TheMarketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating and delivering targeted marketing programs aimed at increasing the company's sales pipeline and increasing awareness of the company within existing markets and events. Working as a member of the marketing team, the specific responsibilities of this role include defining, executing, monitoring and measuring programs that may include trade shows, webcasts, and campaigns using email, web and traditional direct mail approaches.

This role will be responsible for working with business units to collect the information required to produce campaign materials, work with internal teams to define the target pool, and work with creative teams (inhouse/outsource) to define, produce and distribute campaign related materials. This role will work with other members of the marketing team, as well as product management and sales staff, to ensure proper follow up is performed and documented.

TheMarketing Specialist is responsible for the on-time, accurate delivery of data files and campaign reporting for all direct to customer marketing programs. Marketing programs this role has oversight on include direct mail and email promotions, industry trade shows, and promotional web casts.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected for this role however the supervisor must directly approve all materials prior to distribution. This role does not have budgetary responsibility however program level budget oversight is required.

Principal Job Functions:

  • Responsible for marketing campaign development and execution activities including target identification, contact strategy, and lead generation reporting

  • Responsible for coordination and execution of trade show plans in accordance with department goals and budget.

  • Define and conceptualize new campaign concepts based on specific growth goals

  • Oversee lead generation technologies between web sites and CRM to ensure efficient capture of prospect data

  • Work as a marketing liaison with sales team to ensure lead qualification processes are defined and performed, and that efficient lead hand off is achieved

  • Liaise with various internal marketing teams, agencies, list brokers, fulfillment vendors, third party vendors in support of marketing goals and objectives

  • Report on activities using Campaign Management best practices to establish marketing metrics and ensure continuously improving campaign effectiveness to acquire, retain and grow customers

  • Work with other members of the marketing team to ensure cohesive activities across programs

Job Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • 2-5 years experience with campaign production, development and distribution, database marketing, customer/prospect databases, and/or modeling and related systems and technologies

  • Experience measuring marketing campaign performance and effectiveness

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Highly detail oriented with excellent follow through skills

  • Strong computer skills with advanced experience with Microsoft Office and solid familiarity with Internet technologies and productivity applications

  • Independent self starter

  • Healthcare experience a plus

  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
