Lockheed Martin Facilities Project Manager Staff in Littleton, Colorado

Plans, directs and manages all phases of a construction projects from initiation of design concepts through design, implementation, and closeout. Projects vary from very simple with low complexity tennant finish to higher technical specialized laboratories and unique testing chambers. Ensures project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes are negotiated, operating budgets established, and financial terms/conditions of contract are identified. Acts as primary contact for facility project activities and is responsible for multiple concurrent project logistics & leadership, communication, reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance. Establishes schedule milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, standards, construction specifications, budgets and schedules. Identifies problems, statuses and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope assessment. Represents FO&S organization and provides coordination with internal staff, external subcontractors, telecommunications, other SSC customer Lines of Business. Frequently interfaces with senior management on significant decision making or status.

Basic Qualifications * Ability to lead and drive multiple concurrent project teams through project life cycles for successful on schedule and budget project completion * Ability to manage project financial budgets and schedule milestones related to project management ranging from one thousand dollars to $20M. * Ability to prioritize projects and related tasks with organizational direction and budget standard guidelines. * Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, may refer to established precedents and policies, and recommend/lead operational change as technical leader. * Experience in construction oversight including the request for information (RFI), submittal, and change order processes. * Ability to read and interpret engineering design and construction drawings * Effective written and verbal communication skills appropriate for the construction job site and executive-level briefings, as well as representing the organization through solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. *Full knowledge of Microsoft products: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project Scheduling (or equivalent).
