Overview of team

The IWM sales team are responsible for growing JPMAMs market share with the biggest circa 1000 independent Investment IFAs and Discretionary Management Firms across the UK.

Role Overview

The regional sales executive works in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager to grow JPMAMs market share in their respective territory.

Key Objectives of role

  • Office based partner of the Regional Sales Manager, responsible for selling JPMAMs pooled funds with the majority of time spent servicing and selling to the top 150 Adviser clients within the region.

  • To liaise with these clients primarily by telephone and email.

  • Responsibility for the office based pre-event and post event follow up sales initiatives with key strategic partner underlying distribution for events including Guide to the Markets and increasing the attendance of such events, both in number and quality of attendees.

  • Responsible for effective territory management in the region to identify potential clients and build pipeline business for the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Responsible for diary client meeting management and follow up activity for the RSMs face to face meetings.

  • Ability to work to ambitious sales and revenue targets and to achieve key performance targets.

  • To respond to client queries working to the sunset deadline.

  • Adhere to standardized sales management best practices including effective sales territory and diary management, and working to activity targets and minimum client servicing requirements.

  • Adoption of disciplined sales management practices, including full utilization of sales management tools for effective tracking of client activity and pipeline.

  • Activity goals: 40 quality client calls per week and 30 client dials per day.

Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Experience of telephone sales contact and relationship management with clients

  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets

  • Persuasive, positive energy, laser focus, tenacious, resourceful navigators and first class communication skills.

  • Confident, self-reliant and good team player

  • Good knowledge of retail funds market and competitive environment

  • IMC or similar qualification, or a desire to achieve such a qualification
