We are looking for a rockstar to help develop and run our global Supply Chain. In this role you will join a

team of some of the world’s best Supply Chain professionals in strategically building and developing

relationships with a global set of 3D Printing manufacturing, logistics, machine, and materials suppliers.

You will partner with the Global Supply Chain team, internal factories, business development, product, and

finance to develop service offerings while delivering millions of unique items to our creative, inspiring

customers. You will be involved in every facet of a fast-moving start up, where things are changing daily!

As a Supply Chain Intern at Shapeways, you will get exposure to managing operational relationships with

manufacturing and logistics suppliers, contribute to finding and onboarding new vendors and work on

projects that will help improve overall Supply Chain efficiency. In your role, you will support ensuring

optimal quality, delivery and cost of goods from order to customer.

  • Manage day to day quality, lead time and cost processes using Shapeways business tools and systems.

  • Develop and manage operational relationships with new and existing manufacturers, suppliers and logistics service providers around the world to drive revenue and profitability targets.

  • Training and onboarding new vendors to use Shapeways specific tools and systems.

  • Contribute to further improve production service levels and quality of 3D printed products from orders and manufacturing through customer delivery, tracking performance through goals and metrics.

  • Improve our internal processes and relationships with vendors to help them to grow as fast as we do.

  • Work with your colleagues on exciting and ambitious projects that help shape the Supply Chain of the future.

  • Play a role in setting strategic direction, diversification, scalability and sustainability of the global Supply Chain.

  • Analytics experience, great using data, Excel, to find things out. SQL is a plus.
