Our client, a global leader in the sustainability of resources, is seeking for a Business Support / Financial Partner for its North America – Western Region operations. Direct reporting to the region's SVP and a strong dotted line to Corporate Finance, the Business Support / Financial Partner will bridge finance and operations within the region and work to improve commercial terms of the business, support growth through new business, renewals, and account management, enforce reporting accuracy to ensure reliable financial statements, communicate financial results and issues, ensure adequate risk mitigation, ensure sound investments, improve communication and financial understanding across the region and work in compliance with the Code of Ethics and other Company policies. Requirements: BA / BS in Accounting or Finance MBA highly desirable Strong understanding of US GAAP, familiarity with IFRS a huge plus 10 + years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and operations within a multi-location environment: Industry preference - Operations, Wastewater, Utilities and Environment Strong in these areas: Monthly P&L; review – Budget vs. Actual; Cash Flow Forecasting, Monthly Operating Report (MOR) and Selected High Level P&L; Variances. Experience in Financial and operational audit – QTRLY and YE End audits Experience in Capital Assets Acquisition – Discounted cash flow; budget vs. actual cost incurred Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) -review, development and implementation of internal controls for Financial Reporting Experience in reviewing of large projects and project portfolio including – WIP, impairment, future loss provision and risk assessment Strong business development – support new business growth, review of RFP and cost model, perform complete economic valuation of projects – DCF (discounted cash flow) Strong budgeting & forecasting – development of annual operating plan for the region Effective communication and strong cross-functional skills with ability to manage complex projects simultaneously High level analytical skills with strong problem solving and creative skills Strong skills in ERP – Experience in SAP, and related extraction and reporting tool Willing to travel within the region - USA - Western States If you are currently registered with Robert Half Finance & Accounting, please contact your recruiting manager.
