Vantiv Associate Risk Analyst in Lowell, Massachusetts

Vantiv is looking for an Analyst to join the Portfolio Risk Team. In this exciting and challenging position, the candidate will play a key role in the department by assisting with research, analysis, reporting and risk mitigation. This person will be both self-sufficient and able to work well with teams throughout the organization.


  • Ongoing tracking and management of network chargeback/fraud audits and associated fines

  • Communicate deadlines to merchants and relationship management while ensuring timely and accurate responses to card brands

  • Identify irregularities using logic and sound judgment

  • Partner with Risk to implement corrective action where appropriate

  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding federal and network regulations

  • Prioritize ongoing and new risk concerns and escalate accordingly

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting

  • Experience in payment processing, merchant processing, credit card issuing, alternative payments, or chargebacks is a plus

  • Perform other critical job functions as assigned

  • 1+ years of experience in an office environment

  • College Degree preferred but not required for the right candidate

  • Ability to collect, research and analyze data

  • Team player -- able to work well with co-workers and make positive contributions

  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues under pressure while following company and departmental policies and procedures

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, specifically Access and Excel a plus
