Vantiv Associate Risk Analyst in Lowell, Massachusetts
Vantiv is looking for an Analyst to join the Portfolio Risk Team. In this exciting and challenging position, the candidate will play a key role in the department by assisting with research, analysis, reporting and risk mitigation. This person will be both self-sufficient and able to work well with teams throughout the organization.
Ongoing tracking and management of network chargeback/fraud audits and associated fines
Communicate deadlines to merchants and relationship management while ensuring timely and accurate responses to card brands
Identify irregularities using logic and sound judgment
Partner with Risk to implement corrective action where appropriate
Research and respond to inquiries regarding federal and network regulations
Prioritize ongoing and new risk concerns and escalate accordingly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting
Contribute to a fun and friendly company culture
Function in a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to change
Analytically minded; you are curious and thrive on finding "the" answer through investigation and research
Experience in payment processing, merchant processing, credit card issuing, alternative payments, or chargebacks is a plus

Perform other critical job functions as assigned
1+ years of experience in an office environment
College Degree preferred but not required for the right candidate
Ability to collect, research and analyze data
Team player -- able to work well with co-workers and make positive contributions
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues under pressure while following company and departmental policies and procedures
Expertise in Microsoft Office, specifically Access and Excel a plus
Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Typically requires no previous professional experience.
