Vantiv is actively seeking a talented Implementation Consultant who is eager to learn about our technology and, more importantly, assist customers in leveraging this technology toward the enhancement of their business. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, consulting-centric individual to function as a core member of the Implementations Department, leveraging business and technical skills, during the integration of new customers and partners to Vantiv's eCommerce payment processing platform. This role is perfect for someone who has 2-7 years of work experience, has a BS or MS degree, and who thrives in extremely analytical, technically-oriented, consultative roles.

Ensure that Customers Are Wildly Successful!

  • Consultatively engage with customers during the entire on-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition to payment processing with Vantiv

  • Deeply understand the customer's business to thereby help them understand how they could best leverage the complete feature set of the Vantiv eCommerce platform

  • Strategically introduce and position Vantiv's complete capabilities to best support, and enhance customer business processes

  • Tenaciously troubleshoot and rectify issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction

  • Rally internal resources as-needed to insure that all customer needs are being met

  • Partner with, and provide expertise to, internal Vantiv departments during the development and deployment of new, value-added platform features and functionalities

Required Technical and Business Skills:

  • Self-starter, possessing the enthusiasm and ability to function in a team environment

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional ability to engage with customers in a consultative manner

  • Project management and organizational skills

  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments

  • Experience with internet protocols, including FTP, TCP/IP sockets, HTTPS POST, etc.

  • Familiarity with basic web technologies including HTML, Java Script, and HTTPS

  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and resolve complex issues

Preferred Technical and Business Skills:

  • Prior experience as an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant

  • eCommerce knowledge and experience, including the functioning of shopping carts and eCommerce applications

  • Familiarity with Web applications

  • Understanding of SDKs and application extensions

  • Experience with relational databases, including ability to write SQL queries

  • Familiarity with the use of internal CRM systems, i.e. SalesForce
