Vantiv Product Manager - Recurring Payment Services in Lowell, Massachusetts

The Product Manager -- Recurring Payments Solutions will be the internal and external product champion for value-added services that provide topline benefits to merchants with recurring revenue business models. As the go-to person for product strategy and decisions as to the product roadmap, he/she will be responsible for: defining specific areas of product investment based on market needs analysis; delivering product capabilities to address market demand; owning the customer experience; articulating the value proposition; and creating sales enablement tools to ensure the product meets its revenue goals.


  • Inform the roadmap and strategy for recurring payments solutions; drive the solution set through conception, planning, development, release, early adoption, iterative enhancement and market penetration.

  • Engage customers, sales teams and internal experts to define market needs and operational requirements.

  • Working as the product owner with one or more agile development teams, set development priorities and translate product inputs into well-defined requirements for each development iteration.

  • Develop business cases as needed to advocate for new product investments.

  • Organize cross-functional teams to ensure timely communication and operational readiness to implement services, deliver on promised value, and achieve revenue goals.

  • Work closely with Sales, Relationship Management, and Customer Success teams to support new sales and upselling activities, including participation and presentations at meetings and conferences with customers, partners, and industry thought leaders.

  • Coordinate efforts with colleagues from other Vantiv business units, leveraging existing corporate technology assets where applicable and ensuring optimal reach of solution elements through Vantiv sales channels.

  • Ensure timely resolution of issues that affect customers, sales & support teams.

  • Maintain metrics reports and present results to senior management team on a periodic basis.

  • Work with colleagues in Marketing to develop content and programs that drive and support new customer acquisition and product adoption.

  • Deliver training to internal stakeholders and populate and maintain product reference materials for co-worker self-service on product questions.

  • Drive engagements with key vendors and partners to help expand the scope and differentiation of Litle/Vantiv's payment management solutions.


  • Undergraduate degree in technical discipline, or equivalent work experience in a technical field; MBA a plus.

  • 3-5 years' experience in software product management; Experience in Software as a Service strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies considered a plus.

  • Prior experience coordinating product creation and realization in a complex, enterprise-scale environment

  • Highly skilled written and verbal communicator, comfortable addressing and educating groups of internal stakeholders and external customers

  • Experience working with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are feasible.

  • Experience working with external partners on product integration.

  • Experience with subscription-based or membership-based eCommerce preferred.
