JOB REQUIREMENTS: Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin. BETTER TOGETHER 36 hrs/week position located at our downtown Capitol Clinic.The Registered Nurse (RN) Team Coordinator serves as a lead clinical resource within the ambulatory clinic through the provision of excellent ambulatory nursing care with a patient centered approach to all interactions. The RN Team Coordinator is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to patient care team staff in the Patient Care Services Department. The RN Team Coordinator possesses strong clinical, leadership, education, and advocacy skills. The RN Team Coordinator has responsibility for the day to day operations of a patient care team and for working collaboratively with the other team coordinators and Clinic Managers at their respective clinic sites. The RN Team Coordinator functions as a resource person for nursing staff regarding clinic operations issues. Additionally, the RN Team Coordinator functions in various clinical roles, providing telephone triage, patient education, direct patient care, anticipatory guidance, care coordination, and evaluation of nursing staff performance. The incumbent works under the guidance and supervision of the Clinic Manager. Provider staff may delegate activities to a Registered Nurse within the licensing and RN scope of practice within the State of Wisconsin. NOTE: This position is regularly exposed to blood borne pathogens, diseases, and cleaning/sterilization solutions. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin is required. 2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required. 3. One (1) to Three (3) years of professional nursing experience is required. Experience working in an ambulatory or clinic setting is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of RN experience at Group Health Cooperative is strongly preferred. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is desirable. 4. Possession of or eligibility for a valid Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certificate is required. Employee must obtain certification within four (4) months of employment. 5. Ability to travel to various work sites is required. Employee is expected to provide personal transportation. Possession of a valid, Wisconsin driver license if the employee is operating a motor vehicle is required. 6. Knowledge of scientific nursing p inciples, methods and techniques in an ambulatory setting as a basis for quality decision-making ability is required.
