Job SummaryReporting to the Director, Home Health Care the Category Coordinator- HHC is a role within the Home Health Care Business. The candidate is responsible for the coordination of all existing and new retail supplier products, services & programs for the Home Health Care business. This position is responsible for coordinating product management activities for all retail supplier product lines and has coordinated program development, sales, margin and market share accountabilities. This specialized role includes the coordination of complex rehab programs to leverage sales growth and business EBITDA. Specific Responsibilities• Coordinating and delivering product roadmaps based on consumer research, market trends and competitive positioning designed to drive market share, sales and ebitda.• Coordinating the HHC retail category both in terms of market share, sales and ebitda.• Coordinating the product line extensions and or new product/service category opportunities. • Coordinating changes which will increase product portfolio penetration and profitability. • Understanding and coordinating customer needs and demands to deliver new features, benefits and products which will grow market share. • Coordinating adjustments to product portfolio business plans to achieve financial targets and goals. • Coordinating cross-departmental groups to drive performance of channels. • Supporting sales and service work force in understanding products, benefits and features. • Understanding key business processes and working with cross-departmental teams to drive the right activities. • Coordinating and monitoring competitive, industry, economic and regulatory changes that may influence the product portfolio. • Coordinating product positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the market place. QualificationsQualifications: • 5+ years of product management experience particularly in a specialized complex rehab and home health care environment. • Experience in coordinating new product development and product line extensions. • Worked with product managers and or product development/management functions. • Broad working knowledge of retail marketing practice particular consideration given to service industry experience. • Demonstrate an ability to work cross-functional teams together to achieve strong results. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
