The role

An opportunity to join the Australian

Oracle Managed Cloud Services Sales Team and take a leading role in Cloud

Computing driving services sales across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.

Responsibilities :

  • Developandclose Managed Cloud Servicesopportunities to yield revenue in line with targets

  • Developand actively grow a sales opportunities pipeline

  • Accuratelyforecast against plans and targets

  • Developindividual Account Plans based on analysis of growth opportunities andcustomer success milestones

  • Driveand align the Client buying cycle withOMCSsales goals

  • Identifykey decision makers and influencers at all levels within anopportunity

  • Manageand lead sales/bid process including internal X-Line of Business alignmentwithin the opportunity

  • Createcompelling value propositions with robust ROI and clear business valuearticulation

  • Negotiatecontracts, liaising with internal & external commercial services &approvals

  • Actas an ambassador for Oracle OMCS at clients

  • Develop& maintain relationships with key decision makers in allocatedaccounts

  • Developand manage client relationships in order to maximise client business valueand the return forOracle ManagedCloud Services

  • Maintainan understanding of competitive activity relevant to designated accounts

  • Maintainan understanding of Oracle OMCS direction, product set and servicesrelevant to both Transition and Greenfield sales

  • Excelat all areas of business development and sales, i.e. communication,presentations, proposal writing and strategic selling

  • Developclose relationships with other Oracle Lines of Business, particularly withthe Application & Technology/Middleware License Sales Organisation andLocal Country Management Teams

  • Possessboardroom competence and credibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability tosuccessfully lead and execute the full sales cycle on complex IT servicesand outsourcing deals

  • Proven track record ofmultiple sales target overachievement and Sales Club Excellenceparticipation

  • Significant experiencein both leading and coordinating Deal Pursuit Teams (including solution,pricing, delivery, contract, legal and 3 rd Partyresources), as well as working with minimum support to win business

  • Experience insuccessfully joint selling with both internal and external partner organizations

  • Strong TerritoryManagement Skills, including account assessment & targeting, leadfollow-up, cold calling, account development and qualification

  • Ability to effectivelydevelop, negotiate and close at the “CXO” level

  • Working knowledge ofService Level Agreements, ARC’s and RRC’s, and Risk Mitigation Strategies

  • Familiarity withmarket-leading SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Players as well as ERP, CRM and EPMsoftware solutions

  • Experiencewith Oracle Applications, Services and Technology is must

  • Bachelor or Mastersdegree, or equivalent experience

  • Good industryexperience and a successful track record of solution-selling model

  • A strong background in customer and market penetrations in the Australian market preferably

5-8 years of services sales experience. Able to work under tight deadlines. Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. BS/BA preferred. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
