Job Description

  • Serves as a top level technical or functional expert, often working on multiple projects and programs.

  • Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups.

  • Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.

  • Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.

  • Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.

  • Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to pass a minimal background investigation (MBI) in accordance with HSPD-12.

  • Candidate must have taken previously on a major role in the development, Architecture and Strategy of designing and governing big data & analytics and business intelligence within large, high visibility federal or corporate organizations.

  • Has advised banking, retail, government and telecoms in the entire life cycle of data warehousing for analytics.

  • Extensive experience with SAS (Financial Institution preferred), excellent presentation skills, SAS code development, experience with Enterprise Guide \

  • Candidate must have extensive experience in mixed UNIX/Linux environments, ability to code in Python, & PERL (HP - UX is a plus).

  • Candidate must have experience working & interacting directly with data stored in Hadoop (Hive) using HiveQL.

  • Candidate should have specialized skills in large systems, big data analytics, Data Warehousing, D ata and Information Management for Fraud Analytics, Risk Analytics, Visualization, and Strategy.

  • Candidates with Storage Network (SANs) experience is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in a related discipline.

  • Masters Degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AREA OF EXPERTISE.
