JOB REQUIREMENTS: THIS POSITION IS DEPENDENT UPON BEING AWARDED A GRANT Job Purpose The overall purpose of the Employment Training and Education (ETE) Program Manager is to provide the day to day operation/management of the ETE program. The goal is to successfully reintegrate veterans into employment in a performance driven, outcome based program. The emphasis is on meeting performance goals in the areas of job placement, occupational skill training and employment retention. Duties and Responsibilities Manage the day to day operation of the ETE program activities Provide staff orientation, training, supervision and evaluation Design, modify and adapt strategies to meet DOL performance goals as well as the needs of veterans with barriers to employment Conduct regular staff meetings to review new cases, develop/monitor Individual Employment Plan (IEP), and monitor job placement in accordance with DOL guidelines. Assist the Director of ETE to develop program policies/procedures to ensure successful outcomes and compliance with grant requirements in all areas to include; enrollments, assessments, job readiness , placement and retention Prepare program expenditure requests for submission to the ETE Director for approval Collaborate/consult with Disabled Veterans Outreach Program/Local Veterans Employment Reps, VAMC, WIOA Board, American Job Centers, WI Department of Workforce Development, academic institutions, and other stakeholder agencies in the identification of resources and employment/job training opportunities for veterans Provide coordination and facilitation of OJT and occupational skill trainings for participants to include reviewing required paperwork for accuracy and compliance with DOL regulations Analyze, prepare and maintain detailed quarterly data reports required by the funding source and the ETE Director Work with incarcerated veterans in preparation for release from the department of corrections Occasional transportation of veterans to include veterans exiting a DOC facility Ensure compliance all reporting requirements Other duties as assigned or requested ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: MSW is preferred or a Bachelor's degree in either social work or human services Three years' case management experience working in federal or state outcome based employment programs to include working with high risk populations, veterans, offenders or populations with disabilities including mental health and or substance abuse Minimum two years' management/supervisory experience in a non-profit or social service setting Valid Wisconsin driver's license in good standing Valid and current proof of auto insurance required ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum:
