Recruiter - Casual (171340) SUMMARY Functions as part of a collaborative team focusing on full cycle recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES Establishing and maintaining a partnership approach to recruitment with department representatives to assure a seamless process Collaborating with supervisors and managers in developing effective sourcing methods in recruiting quality clinical professionals Developing and maintaining and efficient, effective, and timely process to screen, match, and track available candidates Establishing a good rapport with candidates, students, education partners, and community groups to effectively market Hennepin County Medical Center Screening and referring applicants to operating departments Conducting preliminary/initial interview and background checks of candidates in a professional manner consistent with applicable policies and regulations Verifying that all licensure, certification, registration, and education requirements have been met by the candidates Overseeing the offer and on-boarding process Participating in the New Employee Orientation process through presenting and assisting new hires with their enrollment Developing recruitment materials and attending medical career fairs representing Hennepin County Medical Center as a preferred employer Informally contacting new recruits to follow up on their employment experience to date Contacting departments to follow up on new hires to determine the effectiveness of the recruitment Participating in process improvement initiatives/committees Work with other HR team members to assist with other high volume recruitment needs and workforce planning efforts Perform other duties as required Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; A minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, -OR- An approved equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience recruiting in a healthcare setting PHR certification Certified Staffing Professional Previous experience using PeopleSoft ATS Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: In depth knowledge of recruitment techniques and proactive sourcing processes Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Ability to handle high volumes of open requisitions EEO/Disability/Veteran employer.
