Current Need McKesson is hiring a Director of Marketing, McKesson Patient Care Solutions, to be located in Moon Township, PA, or Richmond, Virginia, depending on the candidate.
The Director of Marketing, McKesson Patient Care Solutions, is responsible for directing the development of McKesson Patient Care Solutions marketing programs. In addition, the Director is also responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, development of marketing strategies, definition of promotional activities and program launch.
Activities may include customer service and sales support, promotions, planning, developing and implementing programs and online presence for McKesson Patient Care Solutions.Position Description/General Job Family InformationResponsible for directing the development of company marketing programs. Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, product life-cycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities and product launch. Activities may include technical sales support, product advertising/promotion, planning, developing and implementing multiple channel programs, and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).
Defines strategic marketing plans for McKesson Patient Care Solutions
Works closely with multiple senior-level stakeholders to enhance competitive positioning & optimize alignment of marketing and sales priorities Establishes group objectives/priorities and balances resources as appropriate to achieve team/company goals Responsible for full spectrum of marketing, including awareness, lead generation, communications and web marketing through measurement of results as well as training Owns development/management of marketing programs, incorporating segment strategy, key stakeholders, as well as state of the art marketing principles & techniques Defines, understands and articulates our value proposition to all internal and external audiences Understands McKesson Patient Care Solutions competitors and develop strategies to help the company effectively compete in select markets Understands the needs of all our audiences and create programs that can leverage our relationships with each partner/customer (Manufacturers, Referral Sources, Patients, Payers, etc.) Manages software projects to improve the efficiency of McKesson Patient Care Solutions Manages both internal and external McKesson Patient Care Solutions events Manages survey implementation and reporting internally and externally Communicates priorities and results effectively Serves alongside other colleagues as a visible leader for McKesson Patient Care Solutions Builds and manages team of 4 marketing professionals Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements
8+ years of marketing experience including 5+ years managerial experienceCritical Skills
Significant experience with advanced marketing concepts – proven experience with business to business (B2B Strategic planning experience– ability to create and implement strategy outlining plan over multi year period Strong leadership ability with proven ability to attract and develop talent Healthcare experience is a mustAdditional Knowledge & Skills/Preferred
Business to consumer (B2C) marketing preferred Strong Communications background preferred Marketing/Communications degree preferred Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience preferredEducation
