DuPont Industrial Biosciences currently seeks a motivated and highly professional Administrative Assistant to support our Cellulosic Ethanol facility.

Based in Nevada, IA, this role will provide key administrative support for a variety of functions within the site. Responsibilities Include:

Providing onsite administrative support to our Nevada based team.

Assist various teams with onsite meetings, which involves reserving room space, catering food, preparing name badges and other meeting materials, and other support as needed.

Provide assistance with onsite interviews, which includes coordinating candidate travel, facilitating reimbursement for interview expenses, preparing interview materials, and initiating background screenings.

Assist with receiving, coding, and processing of invoices through our computer-based system.

Order and maintain office equipment and supplies for the Nevada facility.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal DuPont partners and teammates.

Facilitate visitor and contractor check-in/badge process at site.

Other projects and duties as assigned

The hours for this position are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some overtime.


Qualifications include:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in an industrial environment .

Ability to navigate the tools of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and learn new computer software systems.

Close attention to detail and high work standards.

Strong planning and organization skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers .

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people across multiple functions.

Willingness to take initiative and work under minimal supervision.

Must have experience working with confidential information.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and dynamic work environment. Must have the ability to change priorities on an immediate basis.


Experience in planning and coordinating onsite meetings and off site special events.

Experience supporting interview and hiring processes.

Experience in receiving and coding invoices.
