About the role
Mt Arthur Coal is a residential operation, located in the picturesque Upper Hunter, near the community of Muswellbrook. In addition to being located in a wonderful area, the mine site contains some unique geological and technical specificities which would interest any individual driven by tackling challenges leveraging from the internal capabilities developed over years of operating.
As Manager Production Planning you will report to a senior leader, you will be a key-decision maker and have strong influence in regards to how the mine is run. This role will have a strong focus on building effective working relationships, financial prudence and accountability.
In this role you will:
Coach and mentor your team, drive best practice and truly make a difference to business performance in order to create a ‘Best in Business’ environment,
Lead your team to create or contribute to high-quality designs, schedules and plans,
Develop, foster and manage relationships in order to power productivity as well as create a ‘safe to speak up’ culture and,
Drive organisation, cultural and innovation change resulting in productivity improvements and cost reduction for the operation
Proven leadership skills and ability to drive change and develop team members’ capabilities
Strategic and analytical mind, as well as excellent business acumen
Qualification in mining, commerce, engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded but not essential
As the Manager Production Planning you will be a performance and achievement oriented professional, who is motivated by exceeding expectations and able to use your relationship building and influencing skills in order to hold others to account.
This position is based in the Hunter Valley working a Monday to Friday roster. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate
