Aon is looking for a Broker I
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Crisis Management business group within Aon Risk Solutions. As a Broker I, you will report directly to the Director- Crisis Management.
Your impact as a Broker I
Ability to retain and grow a book of business including middle market and large, global corporate accounts.
Ensure client/marketing files are maintained in a timely fashion.
Proactively coordinate renewal cycle to ensure all necessary steps are completed in a timely fashion. This may include: preparing and/or checking notice letters, application reviews, market submissions and terms reports; putting the Firm Orders to various markets; ensuring that coverage are bound prior to the effective dates; and responding to client requests.
Prepare and/or check computations of premiums and taxes.
Prepare and/or check invoices as appropriate.
Prepare Wording Comparisons, Working Copy Wordings, letters and reports under the direction of the Senior Vice President(s) and Vice President(s).
Review client contracts and indemnification language.
Ensure all communications, both written and verbal, received from clients, markets and other Aon offices are acknowledged promptly by working with executive leadership.
Coordinate activities with other Aon offices to ensure smooth coordination of all client activity.
Responsible for marketing and developments of terms under the direction of executive leadership.
Prepare and/or check policy documentation.
Assist in development of sales documents and presentations to prospective new clients.
Willingness to travel as necessary
Maintain daily diary and outstanding list of the client accounts.
Review and approve work done by account representative and assistant, and provide guidance.
Monitor claims activities.
Ensure final documents are consistent with quotes and binders
Communicate with insurance markets for quotes, and develop/maintain positive working relationship with markets
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
2+ years of insurance industry experience
Willingness to take insurance courses
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control work flow deadlines and be flexible
Be energetic/have a proven sense of urgency.
Proficient in Lotus Notes, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
- Product Recall contamination experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
