The Wholesale CreditAnalytics and Solutions team (WCAS) is responsible for implementing key creditrisk practices across Wholesale businesses, and ensuring consistency inmethodologies within Wholesale Credit Risk. WCAS’ areas of responsibilityinclude Traditional Credit Product stress testing, developing the firm'sauthoritative wholesale credit risk parameter data set, reserve/allowancemanagement, development and implementation of an economic credit capital model,the construction and integration of credit and capital limits, risk gradingmethodology, and the provision of strategic advice and solutions to theoriginating businesses.
The Data Management teamwithin WCAS is responsible for overseeing overall Data agenda; data needsconsolidation, data quality, meta data management and data governance. To thatend, the team is responsible for defining overall WCAS Data strategy inpartnership with LOB, Technology, and Operations stakeholders. The team is alsoresponsible for Wholesale Credit Risk Data Governance efforts in partnershipwith Chief Data Office.
The team is looking foran experienced and enthusiastic individual to help to shape our data strategyefforts as well as to drive WCAS BAU data requirements and data quality agenda.
This position will focuson three major Data Management practice areas:
WCAS Data Strategy, 30%.The right individual, having had a previous experience working in DataManagement areas, will be a part of WCAS efforts to formulate long-term DataStrategy and to partner with various stakeholders on its planning andimplementation.
40%. BAU WCAS datademand analysis, Data quality requirements management, data analysis, meta datamanagement (tactical and strategic).
Data Governance, 30%.Ownership of Data Governance agenda across wholesale Credit Risk. Work in closepartnership with LOB, operations, Chief Data Office partners.
The role requiresexperience/expertise in the following areas:
Data strategy, data governance, data management,data modeling, data quality management.
Business and data analysis working with numerousstakeholder teams.
Help to lead WCAS data management efforts
Management of WCAS datademand.
Representing WCAS invarious data governance forums and data related strategic initiatives.
Formulating WCAS DataQuality goals and agenda. Representing DQ needs to respective forums andoverseeing resolution.
§Wholesale Credit Risk Data Governance andStrategy
Meta Data strategy andmanagement.
Data lineage, lines ofdata responsibility and accountability definition across upstream anddownstream dependencies.
Establishing and runningWholesale Credit Risk Data Governance forum.
Closely partner with Technology, variousbusinesses, CDO, Operations and Reporting on various aspects of Data Managementprocesses.
Serve as WCAS point person for any data relatedquestions and requests.
Define and drive operational improvements aroundWCAS data management and Wholesale Credit Risk Data Governance.
Actively contribute into definition andimplementation WCAS data strategy.
Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Managementexperience.
Experience in establishing and running variousforums, such as DQ governance.
Data analysis, understanding of concepts andsignificant experience working with relational databases, SQL, and BI tools.
Business analysis and project management.
Knowledge and experience with traditional creditproducts, their processing and related master data are required.
Some Credit Risk experience is a plus
Experience working with SharePoint. Strongskills in using Excel, PowerPoint.
Critical thinking, ability to understand theproblem, to come up with the solution/options, to document and to present tovarious audiences.
Fixed income industry experience is a big plus.
Strong analytical skills (willing to learnquickly).
