JOB PURPOSE

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated division. The role serves as a consultant to management on human-related issues. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent; assesses and anticipates HR-related needs; develops integrated solutions. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the HRBP is responsible for creating a pipeline of qualified and diverse applicants who are interested in serving Educational Alliance’s mission.

SCOPE OF INFLUENCE

  • Direct client group across multiple programs within the Educational Alliance

  • Partners with internal and external customers and vendors

  • Collaborates with the Human Resources Team on a wide-range of projects and initiatives

  • Maintains an effective level of organizational literacy about the divisions’ financial position, plans, and culture

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Talent Acquisition – (60%)

  • Utilizes innovative recruiting techniques to proactively source candidates through the use of the internet, social media, job fairs, networking, etc. and provide exceptional candidates for all client groups.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop specific recruitment plans and identify hiring needs.

  • Extends and negotiate offers for a variety of positions from entry-level to senior management for various program sites providing a wide variety of social service programs.

  • Establishes and maintains talent pipelines for assigned target areas.

  • Develops and executes methods to track recruitment metrics to achieve required staffing levels.

  • Expertise working with ADP/Work Force Now applicant tracking system and recruitment metrics, you'll demonstrate a passion for using data to inform decision making and drive execution.

Human Resources Business Partner (35%)

  • Consults regular meetings off-site with respective client groups and provides HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Partners with HR Director to resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Other (5%)

  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends trainings as required.

  • Performs other incidental and related duties as assigned.

  • Maintains awareness of current Human Resources policies and regulations, Department of Health, Department of Education, and other governing bodies’ rules and regulations, as well as agency’s internal policies and procedures.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders in the interest of meeting organizational goals and values.

  • Communicates at a high level, both written and verbally with a focus on excellent customer service and relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree and three to five years’ experience in full-cycle talent management and strong human resources generalist background.

Experience working in large multifaceted non- profit organization, preferred.

Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Office Suite, and HRIS systems required, ADP strongly preferred.

Proficient with applicant tracking systems and various job boards and social networking sites.

Demonstrated track record of meeting recruitment expectations with sustained results.
