Pfizer Senior Director, Culture and Diversity & Inclusion in New York, New York

Role Summary:

The Senior Director, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion is accountable for developing and leading the execution of Pfizer's global, enterprise-wide strategies to transform the company's Culture and Diversity & Inclusion agenda. Additionally, the role oversees the teams responsible for executing Pfizer's Diversity & University recruitment programs, and Employee Value Proposition work. The role reports to the Chief Talent Officer and is an integral member of the Talent and Organizational Performance Solutions (TOPS) leadership team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leads development of enterprise-wide culture strategy and oversees execution of OWNIT! programming and messaging/communications globally.

  • Develops and implements impactful enterprise-wide Diversity & Inclusion strategies and partners with stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Provides direction and coaching to Diversity Worldwide Leadership Council, 7 Pfizer Colleague Councils and leaders of nearly 100 Colleague Resource Groups globally.

  • Advises HR and business leaders on division- and region-specific Culture and D&I strategies.

  • Leads Employee Value Proposition evolution and strategy to build strong employer presence through social media and HR that recruits globally in partnership with talent acquisition and other key stakeholders.

  • Oversees development and evolution of enterprise culture, diversity and inclusion metrics; defines annual enterprise-wide people and culture goals in partnership with Chief Talent Officer and HRLT.

  • Serves as internal and external thought leader and spokesperson on D&I, culture and talent issues through speaking engagements, policy review, and public/government relations efforts.

Qualifications:

Technical Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS from an accredited institution with focus on OD, change management, HR or business preferred.

  • 15+ years' experience of successfully operating in a complex, global organization as an OD or HR professional.

Minimum:

  • Strategic thinker who can align approach with business strategies.

  • Deep knowledge of D&I, culture and change management practices.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Effective interpersonal skills

  • Experience leading global teams.

  • Someone who can lead, influence and build consensus across an organization.

  • Able to operate in a highly fluid environment that requires adaptability and effectively working across all management levels.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in organizing and interpreting strategic messages and organizational and financial data and metrics to drive decision making

  • Strong skill with MS Office Suite and social media/networking sites

Preferred:

  • Experience successfully operating at the corporate center of a large, global organization.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Advanced degree in the field of business, leadership development, organization development, or adult learning.

  • Broad, effective network in the field to include corporate, vendor and academics.
