Truven Health is looking for an experienced Manager Client Services consultant to work in a dynamic team environment to support a delivery team that will understand requirements and produce strategic deliverables related to transforming clinical practice in the healthcare community.In this position you will: research and build an understanding of policies, legislation and other materials related to this work. Understand overall approach to data gathering and contribute to the data gathering process. Take part in analytical problem solving by manipulating and conveying personal knowledge and understanding. Independently lead major written deliverables. Build firm competencies and methodologies that can be deployed in client delivery, assignment performance, and organization strategy.

  • Oversee operational support for contract deliverables.

  • Prepare and review client deliverables including decision recommendations, policy briefings, whitepapers, and program lessons learned.

  • Facilitate communication with clients, project teams, and related supporting contractors.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and program support by assigning, delegating, and reviewing project tasks and priorities.

  • Ensure client satisfaction by anticipating client needs and meeting deliverable deadlines.

  • Review, analyze, and report findings related to transformative clinical practice goals.

  • Research emerging trends in improved clinical practice quality measures.

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders in support of client goal to transform clinical practice.

  • Minimum 7 years health care industry and/or quantitative work experience related to health care quality

  • Understand the development and reporting of health care quality measures

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization and external clients

  • Outstanding critical thinking, questioning, and listening skills; superior attention to detail

  • Time management skills for managing multiple individual and team tasks simultaneously, while completing work on time and on budget

  • Expert experience using Microsoft Applications: Word Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
