Description The firm seeks a highly motivated Senior Analyst. This professional will transform budget data, market data compensation data, attorney and practice financial performance data and human resources data into meaningful metrics, reports and models for a wide variety of audiences with a high degree of accuracy and reliability. Additional responsibilities include providing technical, analytical and statistical support, and managing the use of software applications. This individual will function and liaise with firm, team and practice leadership across the firm to meet all regular and ad hoc reporting needs and statistical analysis.
Requirements Qualified candidates will possess excellent Excel skills with experience in use of advanced functions (Pivot tables), Lookups, Array formulas, etc.) and financial modeling experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial applications and database environments, and knowledge of compensation systems, budgeting, report development tools, desktop applications and concepts of relational database technology. Strong written and oral communications skills, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills are required. College degree with emphasis in human resources, business or accounting preferred or equivalent work experience is required along with a minimum of five years of statistical analysis, reporting and business experience, preferably in a law firm, public accounting firm, or corporate environment, ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above.
