Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties within the Service Department as a Data Entry Specialist.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Data Entry - Taking technicians' notes and entering them into the computer system

  • Receive information from a computer and reproduce information into a paper format that satisfies a variety of customer specifications

  • Successfully able to multi-task and handle several projects at the same time

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records

  • Other duties as requested or required

Administrative/Other Duties

  • Print internal reports, customer statements and other documents

  • Provide tracing support for shipments and lost mail as needed

  • Fulfill and ship a variety of membership orders for internal clients

  • Perform and assist other tasks as assigned

  • Cross-train to support all work duties to cover absences by other team members

  • Create, maintain and file various records for reporting and benchmarking

  • Support the training of new staff members

  • Support department statistical reporting by collecting and data entering daily metrics into spreadsheets

  • Monitor facility and department supply inventories

  • Support facility issues as required

  • Support safety team as needed

  • Cross-train to support all work duties to cover absences by other team members

  • Perform and assist other tasks as assigned

    Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, lifting, sorting, reaching, inserting, collating, data entry and other physical motions.

  • Moderate periods of extended computer use requiring data entry and mouse functions

  • New duties may require new/other physical requirements

    Essential Job Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of PC's and software (MS Office Applications)

  • Basic Math Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Willingness to accept additional tasks, duties and direction
