Area tax manager ASEAN (Job Number: 010208W-01)


  • Render tax support on various M&Atransactions including merger, acquisition integration and reorganizationactivities.

  • Assist Senior Tax management and partnerwith regional business leaders, finance and legal teams on various taxincentives project in ASEAN, including identification of anyopportunities.

  • Lead the optimization of tax planningfor businesses & functions including entering new markets, supplychains management, cash management, optimizing tax positions aslegislation changes.

  • Facilitatecompliance with BEPS & global transfer pricing policies. Respond to inquiries from other staff memberswho will be involved in tax compliance and transfer price setting, and monitorof any country specific issues with respect to transfer price matters.

  • Work closelywith in house team and/or external tax advisor to manage all taxcompliances and reporting requirement for ASEAN, including tax returns,tax payment, USGAAP tax reporting, local statutory reporting, defendingtax audits and etc.

  • Lead thecoordination of regional tax affairs with global Tax organization,including intercompany transactions, regional tax initiatives, budgets,hiring and evaluation of external consultants.

  • Supervise ateam of 3 (direct reports).



  • University/Bachelor’sdegree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation and/or Law.CPA or Certified Tax Advisor (“CTA”) qualification would be a plus.

  • GoodChinese and English language skills, both oral and written.

ProfessionalSkills & Experience:

  • Atleast 10-12 years of relevant experiences and international corporate taxation;

  • Experiencewith the Big 4 accounting firm(s) a plus

  • Experience with MNCin-house tax organization is a plus

  • Knowledge of international taxation systems,experience on US tax is a plus.
