  • Citibank has designed a process to conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on Retail Bank clients. The Consumer Business Support Unit (CBSU) is responsible for reviewing and analyzing “KYC” information in order to successfully complete the requirements of Citi’s KYC Program. The MIS Analyst will support the operational and analytical reporting for over 400 operations personnel in O’Fallon. This individual will have a key role in extracting, aggregating, and making data available to both analysts and managers within the CBSU O’Fallon team. In addition to supporting key productivity and quality reporting, this position will have responsibility for identification of key risk areas & concerns and the expeditious reporting of risk concerns to business management along with recommendations for remediation.PURPOSE OF JOB This role will be critical in our ongoing effort to create needed MIS and reporting to support the AML Operations teams within North America. The person filling this role will be a strong data professional with subject matter expertise in data management and MIS best practices. This role will also be key in building out the needed infrastructure to do critical reporting, analyze and reconcile data across different systems, and fill needed adhoc reports to assist Senior Management with strategic decision.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact directly with key resources on the Compliance Technology and North America Technology teams to research data questions and determine Root Cause for any data issue

  • Reach across functional lines to understand data issues and drive solutions

  • Develop subject matter expertise in the “Know Your Customer” process flows and how they translate to available data points

  • Design, implement, and maintain integrated SAS macro reporting/MIS system.

  • Evaluate and solution existing reporting for consistency of results, processing efficiency, and opportunity for automation

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and owns delivery of successful business outcomes

  • Import and convert data from various data formats, files systems and relational databases.

  • Data support for reporting and analysis presentation materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent. Master's degree in technology, business or other concentration preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of functionality of Microsoft Office products; including VBA programming

  • Proficient in SAS and/or SQL programming

  • Minimum 5 years in Data/MIS support for Finance, Marketing or Risk Management.

  • Experience in program and project management

  • SharePoint and workflow experience

  • Able to occasionally work longer hours to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Must possess strong communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.

  • Solid working knowledge of core business functions such as quality management, data management, business intelligence, and information technology

  • Cooperative problem solving mindset; Able to work well across multiple functional areas

  • Experience in consumer/retail banking or financial services preferred

  • Familiarity with AML regulatory requirements a plus
