Kforce Insurance Verification Specialist in Orlando, Florida

A Kforce client located in Orlando, FL is looking to add multiple Insurance Verification/Registration candidates to work in the emergency department. The individuals will assist patients and their families with a host of services to ensure that the process of collecting payment is fully explained and is as comfortable as possible. Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate professional and positive communication to customers

  • Contacts Primary Care or Admitting Physician to obtain authorizations, diagnosis, and procedure detail as necessary

  • Documents authorization and benefit information in registration system

  • Other duties as assigned

  • 2 years of experience in financial, business office, or customer service environment is required

  • 1-year of PC/Windows experience preferred

  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office-based products (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)

  • Strong customer service skills and experience

  • Continuously demonstrates positive attitude

  • Efficiently and accurately gathers and inputs patient/guarantor demographic and financial information
