Primary Purpose:

This position provides field training delivery and support for Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. (BVCI), the union arm of Black & Veatch Construction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Develops, facilitates, delivers, and provides support for BVCI training programs

•Coordinates and delivers on-site field, classroom and/or virtual classroom instruction

•Assists Subject Matter Experts with field training facilitation and logistics

•Analyzes training and logistics problems and employs appropriate methods for delivery of training solutions to widely dispersed project sites

•Develops BVCI training reports and analytics

•Uses Instructional Design methodologies and assists in the creation of training materials and job aids

•Maintains close coordination with organization’s Training Services group and complies with established training standards and processes

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience as a union craftsman (preferably IBEW, Boilermaker, or UA) with a minimum of 10 years of practical experience in the trade.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Must have documented qualification and at least 5 years of experience providing construction/craft training in a union capacity.

Experience with Superintendent reporting Safety, Cost, Quality and Schedule training and qualification preferred.
