Project Manager - Oil & Gas

Manages medium to large engineering projects within Oil & Gas involving multiple clients or partners, or small EPC projects with minimal risk.
Manages multiple Services clients or a small EPC project client within Oil & Gas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages a single complex project (EPC or turnkey project) or multiple projects of low to moderate complexity (consulting engineering or design only projects) in accordance with Corporate and Energy policies and standards. Monitors and manages all aspects of cost related to projects including budgeting, invoicing, and payments in accordance with Division profit targets. Oversees project schedule to ensure deadlines are met; monitors productivity and schedule performance; resolves schedule issues or conflicts with client and takes actions necessary to meet project budget and schedule requirements. Develops and implements project performance goals; leads project performance reviews to ensure client satisfaction. Leads proposal teams based on guidelines set by the Proposal Review Board (PRB); ensures proposals are competitive and accurate with regards to price, performance, and schedule; may participate in presentations. Mentors, reviews, and evaluates project team members including subordinate managers; advises management on corrective actions as necessary or recommendations for training or promotion of assigned professionals. Communicates and coordinates information related to project across business areas and Divisions as required. Identifies and assesses opportunities for improvement; supports change management associated with implementation of improvements; encourages, supports, and facilitates staff to engage in continuous improvement activities. Manages moderate to significant risk associated with project; implements risk management policies and procedures and carries out risk management plans.; Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individuals comprising this team may vary by project.
9 years of experience managing deliverables for Oil & Gas engineering services or EPC projects. Demonstrated successful results directing a significant project within the Oil & Gas field. Experience in at least one of the execution areas of management including engineering, procurement, construction, or start-up on projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical related field (Engineering preferred).
