Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities ? Partners with hiring managers in recruitment and staffing efforts to select and hire from a world class applicant pool. ? Places job advertising in various media and internal sites. ? Recruits, sources, and prescreens candidates. ? Maintain recruiting files. ? Verifies candidates' eligibility through drug screening, background checks, and reference checks. ? Prepares and presents written offer letters. ? Plans and conducts new hire orientation. ? Perform exit interviews. ? Advises in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues from incident reporting through final disposition. ? Ensures employee relations issues are properly documented and provides recommendations to appropriate team members. ? Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and employee programs. ? Provides comprehensive Human Resources support to our stores. ? Provides understanding and assures compliance with FLSA, ADA, Equal Employment Opportunity, and other federal and state employment laws. ? Performs other special projects

Requirements: Skills / Qualifications ? Minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resources specializing in recruiting and employee relations for a retail company. ? Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, make and communicate decisions, and escalate issues when appropriate. ? Ability to work independently and in a team, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships. ? Ability to deal with complex situations with a high sense of urgency. ? Working knowledge of the application and interpretation of employment laws & company policies as they relate to employee issues and staffing. ? Ability to conduct workplace investigations and prepare written reports. ? Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communications, and problem analysis skills. ? Detail oriented with an "in?service" approach. ? Strong organization skills and experience with successfully managing projects from beginning to end. ? Flexibility to switch gears quickly and efficiently while handling multiple, concurrent tasks under tight timelines. ? Highly collaborative team player with a track record of partnering with others to meet objectives ? Able to handle confidential information with full discretion. ?
