Principle Objective of Position:
This position is responsible for the consolidated financial reporting of the Capital Expenditures of Allergan. Working under the oversight of the Executive Director this position will support the CFO and work with all Business units and corporate functions to understand the overall capital spend for the company and cash flow impact. They will also develop/maintain consistent processes and adherence to overall company policy as well as provide business case support. In addition, this position will assist in the Consolidation of the Global Operations Financial results on a monthly/quarterly basis. Key duties include: financial consolidation of capital spending; analysis of cash flow, development of metrics, procedures and business case input; consolidation and understanding of overall Global Technical Operations results.
Essential Job Functions:

Consolidate and provide clear/concise commentary on the performance of the Global Operations organization on a monthly/quarterly basis
Consolidate and provide clear/concise commentary on the Budget for the Global Operations organization on an annual basis
Consolidation and understanding of the company’s capital budget, forecast, and metrics.
Collaborate directly with each business unit/corporate function to understand capital budgets, forecasts, and provide consolidated commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis
Under guidance from the Executive Director in direct support of the CFO provide understanding of capital and cash flow impact
Collaborate and provide guidance on the development of business cases for capital expenditures
Ensure consistency with capital policy and procedures
Comply with all Company policies and procedures, rules and regulations
Perform related and ad hoc duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum 5+ years financial/accounting experience, experience within the Pharmaceutical industry a plus
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
Principles and practices of budget preparation and administration
Software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Global, multicultural, and multi-site environment
Must be results oriented with a can-do attitude
Data analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Analyzing financial results to enable business decisions
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Managing and prioritizing multiple assignments
Establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with colleagues and Management
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment or independently
Working knowledge of SAP
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA, MBA preferred
