Responsible for the business consolidation and management reporting environment including problem resolution, break fix support, enhancements and optimization. Requires strong understanding of the consolidation process and requirements for management reporting.
Execute BPC system administration activities that include loading data, metadata, business rules, web forms, etc.
Manage and ensure that monthly close is complete and sox compliant. Ensure that monthly financial data is loaded to BPC is complete and that all validation checks are performed.
Maintain production and development databases, including data management, hierarchy updates, calculation script logic updates, data backups, and user security.
Design, develop and troubleshoot load rules, Business Rules and Calculation Scripts.
Enhance existing reports along with making metadata suggestions to optimize financial reporting
Provide the financial consolidation group and the management reporting group with support for ad-hoc reports. Responsible for communications to user base of 300+ regarding system readiness for close, adjustments, input schedules, and locked period.
Continuously and proactively improve the environment to enrich experience by providing training documentation and support for end users.
Develop, maintain and improve documentation on key business processes and procedures in compliance with Internal control policies
Promote and develop automation of processes with current and future application flows. Send downstream system monthly corporate adjustment files for tie to final monthly, quarterly consolidation.
Assist with technical patches, upgrades and system/application migrations
Act as BPC subject matter expert for the entire organization
Take responsibility and ownership for problems resolution and process improvement
Create and maintain standardized and ad hoc financial schedules and reports
Develop and implement new processes and procedures for enhanced reporting of key business drivers
Design, develop, test, automate and maintain reporting through various coding languages and reporting tools
Experience in architecting, building and supporting Financial Consolidation application.
Experience with administration and/or implementation of SAP BPC preferred
Ability to troubleshoot issues relating to BPC in a timely manner
Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improve processes
Understanding /Acumen of Finance with strong knowledge in planning, forecasting, accounting close process.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in highly fast paced changing environment
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels
Ability to understand the needs of the various business teams to appropriately plan for growth and change
Good problem solving skills, including innovative and creative solutions
Ability to work independently and be goal oriented, as well as work as part of a team

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines quickly and accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
