The Senior Associate Talent Acquisition will provide TA recruiting support to the University Relations/Diversity and Operations teams. The individual in this role will have responsibility for managing the overall coordination, administration and execution/roll-out of the various intern, co-op and seasonally distinct recruiting programs while providing dedicated support to the Global Operations client area. The Associate Talent Acquisition Manager focuses on forming solid working relationships with hiring managers, various HR teams, and candidates. Acts as primary contact for candidates throughout the talent acquisition life cycle while enhancing a candidate’s opinion of the Company by providing an inclusive portrait of our culture, services and benefits ; lead on-boarding efforts for all hires and transferees.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the talent acquisition full life cycle recruiting process to include: posting, identification and interviewing of the most qualified applicants, guidance on the selection of the best candidate, generation and the extension of the offerand support for certain on-boarding activities.
Implementing the operational direction of the University/Diversity recruiting programs, managing full lifecycle recruiting initiatives and activities for campus hires from select colleges and universities with the goal to increase the quality of our long term hiring pipeline and to increase the Allergan’s diversity recruiting efforts.
Coordinate and attend select campus and career job fairs, speaking events and other university/diversity related events
Cultivate sources for top talent for Allegan, Inc. Sourcing should include external pipelines and progressive methods through professional social networking sites, (such as Linked In) to directly source, job fairs, specialized organizations, networking, and traditional recruitment methods.
Ensures follow-up and follow through relevant to the Talent Acquisition service level agreements.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of three (3) years full-life cycle recruiting experience in a fast paced corporate environment.
University recruiting experience is required.
A strong working knowledge of Taleo or similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred; must have exposure to ATS in a corporate environment; Workday experiences a plus.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies
Successful track record in sourcing candidates and persuasive offer presentation/ negotiating skills.
Proven experience managing multiple projects occurring simultaneously and an established background working cooperatively in a team environment
Demonstrated cooperative and collaborative decision making skills with a proven sense of urgency for goal achievement
Ability to act as a Business Partner to advise, collaborate and challenge hiring managers
Highly responsive to incoming communications and requests.
Demonstrated ability to work within federal, state and local guidelines.
