We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our VIP Seating team in Peshtigo, WI .

The Program Manager has direct accountability for the success of assigned product line program(s) as measured in all the terms and requirements of the contract, by profitability/cost expectations set by the Business Leader and General Manager and by the measure of customer satisfaction. The Program Manager manages and coordinates the activities of all assigned Program Management Team (PMT) members and customer service representatives (CSRs).

In this role you will:

  • Have leadership responsibility through all phases of the program management process, specifically ensuring the team achieves all deliverable outputs of each phase

  • Charter and lead the program team and to plan, manage, execute, monitor and control all elements of the program

  • Serves as the single point of authority for new product development and introduction

  • Own the sales and gross margin of assigned program(s)

  • Provides program leadership and communication to team members, the Manger, Sales/PMO, VIP seating, Operations Manager and other functional groups

  • Ensures performance of the Program Management Team (PMT) to the plan

  • Responsible for the delivery of products to the plan commitment related to cost and schedule. Establishes and ensures adherence to customer delivery targets related to program hardware, software, data items and owns the demand plan

  • Conducts periodic internal and customer reviews

  • Influences the development of marketing collateral to promote products and services

  • Provides information on market conditions and competitor activity

  • Develops and recommends pricing strategies

  • Supports the development, negotiation and administration of contracts

  • Understands the product life cycle costs to prevent overruns and promotes cost reductions

  • Provides timely and frequent program status and progress updates to customers and the business

  • Coordinates customer (external and internal) change requests, schedules, milestones, etc. per the applicable processes and effectively communicates such changes to the organization

  • Keeps business system information up-to-date relative to customer master information, pricing, purchase/sales orders, and customer specifications, etc.

  • Ensures payments are made per the agreed upon terms with customers

  • Identifies opportunities for improving processes and procedures to enhance overall material and information flow

  • Participates in the annual planning and budget process

  • Establishes and maintains strategic customer alliances for quality and continuous improvement

  • Works with Manger, Sales/PMO, VIP seating and as necessary, AC/BD, to develop and present bids and new proposals. Pursues new business on existing programs and executes sales strategies as developed by AC/BD on new and derivative products

  • Manages assigned PMT members; works with Manger, Sales/PMO, VIP seating on identifying and justifying additions to PMT or removal of members.

  • Develop and train your sales team.

  • Ensure team members meet assigned targets and takes appropriate actions if targets or goals are not met. Monitors team member performance and regularly evaluates individuals’ performance and provides on-going coaching and feedback

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable policies, laws, rules and regulations.

  • Performs other related duties as requirements develop.

  • BA/BS degree with 6+ years related experience in a customer facing role (program management/business development), engineer on a program team, manufacturing, and/or operations

  • MA/MS degree with 4+ years related experience in a customer facing role (program management/business development), engineer on a program team, manufacturing, and/or operations

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • MBA preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Technical experience with interior aircraft seating preferred.
