The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the identification, development, enhancement and administration of these current and future sports applications. The Product Manager will also oversee multiple aspects of the product lifecycle including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with internal subsidiary companies, engineering, sales, marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to the tactical activities
  • Aid in the planning and writing of business requirements and functional specification documents for product creation and product enhancements
  • Work closely with both internal and external technology companies to develop and implement new product features
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing to assess client and industry needs with a goal of identifying new solutions to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with other product managers to identify, develop and execute new enhancement opportunities for current platforms, tools and products
  • Partner with other product and strategy teams to ensure delivery of quality products on-time, while demonstrating a high level of integrity and respect for all teammates and stakeholders
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to-strategy
  • Solid understanding of technical development, testing and launch processes
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Leverage collected stats, product design knowledge, and findings from user research to set the feature and functional roadmap for the sports application platform

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred
  • 10 years of professional experience in cable product and / or technical product management
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross functional teams to solve complex development tasks
  • Proven record of project management, consulting and/or customer advocacy skills would be a plus
  • Must be a creative problem solver and a creative problem anticipator
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and decision-making skills
  • Travel up to 25%
