The Arizona Attorney General’s Office State Government Division, Liability Management Section is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to perform administrative duties of considerable difficulty relative to assisting support staff and attorneys in the defense of actions filed against the State of Arizona.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Knowledge of administrative support procedures, techniques and equipment
Knowledge of word processing and other software applications
Knowledge of the attorney/client relationship, including the need for confidentiality and discretion
Knowledge of the practice of law and the need to ensure work coverage or completion
Skill in performing complex, routine and non-routine administrative duties
Skill in effective oral and written communication
Skill in grammar, punctuation, spelling and basic editing
Skill in dealing with details and confidential information
Skill in interpersonal relations and effectively dealing with others
Ability to work independently and utilize sound judgment
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to follow procedures in a law office environment
Ability to get along and work well with others
- Experience in a responsible administrative support position.
