Coordinate technical market and marketing information for Climax Molybdenum products. Tracks market indicators. Produces marketing collateral as required. Prepares reports and presentations appropriate for senior management and sales teams.

  • Supports the organization in gathering and analyzing technical and market indicators in targeted end use markets. Delivers monthly and quarterly reports for use by marketing technical services, product development, sales and senior management

  • Conduct competitive research. Author competitive content that will be used by sales, engineering and executive teams. For example: competitive analysis, whitepapers, and presentations. Maintain competitive reference library of products and market information

  • Support and coordinate the creation of marketing collateral including newsletters, press releases, brochures & other literature, product data sheets and web-site content

  • Coordinate and support technical conferences where the company is a sponsor or has a leading organizational role

  • Examines and analyzes statistical data to forecast future marketing trends. Gathers data describing competitors and potential competitors and produce detailed technical analyzes regarding each

  • Prepares and presents vivid graphical, explicit summaries, charts and other report media accurately reflecting findings and/or presentation needs of senior managers and sales teams

  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field, or other degree combined with professional experience related to position responsibilities

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with emphasis in economic, market or financial analysis

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong computer skills: proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work with general office equipment such as a personal computer and keyboard, facsimile machines and photocopier

  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business Marketing desirable

  • Additional language skills (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese)

  • Ten (10) years related marketing analysis experience in a materials industry Goal driven; works well independently and is a self starter

  • Demonstrated work history of working with minimal supervision while delivering measurable results
